About 10 years ago I was sitting in a radio station after having lunch with 3 Spiritual Interfaith leaders, Rabbi Ted Falcon, Pastor Don Mackenzie, and Imam Jamal Rahman. Their talk on the radio was about the golden rule and how each religion has the same meaning in different words. Do on to others as you would do unto yourself. They have become very well known with their interfaith dialogue across the country and the world through their book, Getting to the Heart of Interfaith: The Eye-Opening, Hope-Filled Friendship of a Pastor, a Rabbi & an Imam.
I’ve known Rabbi Ted for many years, and he speaks on occasion at the Seattle Center for Spiritual Living where I’ve even sung in the choir during his talks. I consider all three amigos, my friends and have enjoyed their message for years and it is important today to hear this message in an ever-changing world so that each of us can find that common ground within us.
